We was served to pre drinks and starter and main in a fantastic manor. We had our starters within 10 min of sitting down and our main 30min after that. But after eating our main we sat for 25 mins with finished plates and no one coming to us, we had to get up and ask for service. The plates were taken away and our desserts were ordered. My wife had a small dessert option with a tea and I had a Pudding. The tea came in 3 mins but it took 45 min to then ask your staff where our dessert are again no one came over and explained anything. Obviously 5 minutes later we had our desserts, my wife asked for the tea to be refilled. This was for my Birthday and this spoilt the night.

We had a really good time at Saxon Mill at the end of April. We decided this is the place to celebrate our civil marriage and we booked the private room to enjoy with our family and friends. We had great support from Katie to organise the day to our liking. Food was delicious and we had flexibility with our choices of drinks with the open bar. I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for private events, but for the great atmosphere, location, food and hospitality.
