Similar to last reviewer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR YOU WILL REGRET. They strung me along for months then engineered a failure on Completion Date. Nice. Most awful company I have ever encountered. I now boycott brokers who even use them.

I had a nasty and expensive experience with Lanbay. After receiving a mortgage offer and spending significant money on legals and compliance Landbay pulled our just before completion and REFUSING to give any reason. Significant costs have been incurred and tens of hours have been wasted. Avoid like the plague.

Doesn't even deserve the 1 star! After 3 months of being in a rediculas, dragged out process they declined my apication on the mortgage offer expiry date because of the most ridiculous reason! What a waste of my time and everyone else's time! If I was you I would focus my time on finding another lender that is competent and not waste time with Landbay!

Awful company, stay away. Just dont go there, your waste your money and time, like I have. Paid survey cost, legal cost, arrangement fees, admin fees, 2 months of paperwork, and every possible conceivable detail required with every form emailed and hard copy posted, they wasted so much time in detail. The LTV was 75%, then they decide to not extend the offer after 2 months. Leaving me stranded, landlord nightmare. Will never go to Again.

My 5 yr fixed product ended with Landbay, and rather than just renewing to a new 5 yr fixed product, (no missed payments or defaults), I was forced to do a whole new mortgage application. However, I didnt need to fill out a whole new mortgage application to remain on the new higher standard variable rate. Landbay have made, what should have been an easy transition, a complete ball ache. I've encountered no other lender that does this and for good reason.
