My wife and I were looking for a nice sit down and be served restaurant on our last night on vacation. We were near Victoria Station so we just happened to come across Cafe Rouge by happenstance. We were very satisfied when we left. Service was very good. Food and drinks were excellent. Atmosphere was fine. It was in a train station and near a couple of theaters. A large school group came in while we were there. It got a little loud but the staff had them seated, fed and out the door expeditiously. My wife and I were able to enjoy our quiet time again with after dinner desserts and spirits.

Visited Cafe Rouge for the first time. Booked a table for 19:00 for two a friend and I. We arrived an it was evident the venue was understaffed, almost all tables were strewn with dirty plates, glasses etc. we needed to wait and the waitress asked us to sit for a few minutes whilst they sorted tables. Another customer arrived without a booking and the other waitress sat this person ahead of us, which wasnt particularly good, especially as a) we booked and b) were already patiently waiting to be seated. After a few mins we eventually were seated. We got served in a reasonable amount of time and you could tell the staff were a little perplexed and flustered, clearly it had already been a very busy time for them. They took our order and we were dealt with in a pleasant manner. We were served our food in a respectful and reasonable amount of time. There was nothing to rave about it was mediocre food and service. We werent overly impressed with the toilet adjacent to the dining area. I mean literally there are diners tables either side of a pocket sliding door. I dont see how this is allowed under regulations, but hey Im no expert! Overall it was ok, but I wouldnt return or encourage others to go out of their way to visit this establishment. Shame really.

A plate of cream with tiny pieces of chicken floating around. Really zero value for money! When the waiter asked me if I enjoyed, I gave my honest review how it was bland and the chicken portions were small (and they are charging over 20 for this dish) his reply was putting the dessert menu in front of me, as hes in a rush to leave at 9pm! Instead of apologising the manager, told me they have 100s of bookings tonight! Its completely empty hahahaha what a joke!
