I returned the van to the Warrington depot only to find myself being blamed for an old dent to the rear of the vehicle . I calmly denied my involment only to be faced with an agressive man who had it all figured out in his head already .Apparently i had slammed the door into a wall when opening it . The only problem with his theory is that there was no truth in it at all .after being called a liar Infront of my girlfriend and three year old daughter, the argument continued as the finger of blame was being firmly pointed in my direction . By sheer chance I managed to find in the van an old damage form from a previous customer in which the dent in question had been highlighted prior to me using the vehicle. Unbelievably,it still wasn't proof enough for this fella who proceeded to tell me that I couldn't see what was right Infront of me . After asking another customer in the shop to please give me a second opinion ,to which It was confirmed that I wasn't seeing things , a box of original damage sheets was produced where the evidence was undeniably in my favour . After realising his error there was not even an appology . If I hadn't found that old damage sheet I would have been liable to pay hundreds of pounds for their mistake .my advice to anyone else is to ask to see the previous damage report if faced with an unwarranted accusation .
