    Bought my new Land Rover from Rix Motors. Absolute pleasure to deal with Chris who was so helpful and always in fast communication. I'm really happy with the quality of car and service from the team here. It's my second purchase from Rix in 5 years and it was nice to be remembered by Henry Rix from my last time, nice guy and very helpful. Thanks Rix Motors, a really happy customer second time round..!

    Avoid This Company, Their cars are all overpriced and prepared to a very poor standard mechanically with the warranty not worth the paper its written on, cutting corners where they can, once you drive away your on your own as they dont want to know, Henry is rude and arrogant only interested in the sale no customer experience skills or interest at all, will get one of his employees to do his dirty work !!! I have spoken to Chris which is why I know you are not interested once the customer has driven away, he only does what he is told which is to save the company money, your post is standard PR damage limitation without any empathy

    Seriously poor quality cars and they dont care. Prepare to be lied to about the condition of the car youre looking at by the wonderful team Rix. So many issues with the car I bought I dont know where to start. Damaged suspension, dodgy brakes, vibrating steering wheel, missing bolts to vital parts including exhaust bracket & bellhousing, corrosion to metallic parts, NOX sensor issues, damaged wheel bearing, a radio that doesnt work.. the list goes on and on. The car should never have passed an MOT. Bought a car from these cowboys in good faith, being promised there are no issues with the car And that its condition was perfect. Sale was rushed and they got me to fill out paperwork without offering a test drive. When I asked for one they said theyd sort that out after but never did. Salesman didnt seem to know where he was or what he was doing and constantly wandered off saying hed be back in a moment. He was the same both times I had to come back to them for failed repairs. After noticing faults myself Ive been back to them twice (all day long, 9am - 5pm) for repairs but they told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. Then noticed suspension damage. They charged me for the repair of suspension arms which I wasnt liable for. After the two failed repair trips to Rix (167 miles each way twice) and two full days wasted I decided to take it to Mercedes who were shocked at the state of he car. Some of the minor issues have been looked into by Rix but the major ones are still outstanding which they have advised they will not fix. They shrug themselves of any responsibility despite selling cars in appalling condition. 4 months after purchase I still have dodgy brakes and steering, and the luxury car rattles like a bus from back to front. Issues still outstanding following Rix failed repairs: - Ticking sound from brakes - Clunk/ knock sound after stopping - Severe sunroof rattle - Sunroof occasionally doesnt close - Shaky steering wheel while driving - Shaky steering while stationary/reversing - Vibrations from steering rack - NOX fault code found by Mercedes - Severely corroded brake pipes 2x rear, 1x front They dont offer any standard warranty which shows how much faith they have in their own cars and mechanics. They will mock you and make fun of you to your face when you report issues. They dont take complaints seriously, giving ludicrous excuses for poor, lazy and incompetent work by their so called engineers. Totally unprofessional. They will lie about quality and condition of cars to sell them at premium prices, when their stock is anything but premium. They will also ask you to remove negative reviews as they have done twice already with me. Rix responses to reviews are completely inaccurate.

    BEWARE! Read this (and other reviews) BEFORE BUYING FROM RIX Motors. Part exchange con artists or sheer incompetence? Be warned, in my experience they will give you a great part exchange price on your car (over the phone). However, when collecting my new car, they said the only way I can proceed is to pay an additional 1000 deposit and 2000 added to the finance. This was due to my vehicles condition. However, no pictures/videos or inspections were requested/required BEFORE I made the 8 hour round trip to RIX Motors! In Scotts absence (who arranged the deal over the phone) and has been in the motor indutry for 20+ years; Becky the lovely finance lady was left to deal with a very amateur mess/professional con. The manager "Henry" didn't want to show his face when I asked to speak to him (I wonder why). I was given 50 of fuel for the complete waste of my time and additional stress caused and negative impact on my credit file! The whole experience is nothing short of unacceptable considering the old manager/founder Reginald built up a reputation for putting the customer first. Henry, his son (and current manager) really needs to take a leaf out of his father's book. My advice is to stay well clear from this once reputable company. But don't just take my word for it, read others 'part exchange' reviews, and decide for yourself. Good luck!
