    My car was damaged by another driver while I was in my house. I googled my insurance company claims line and mistakenly got a helpline rather than my insurer. My fault - wasn't aware companies touted for these claims. They put me onto connexus. Initially though, everything was fine. I got a rental car very quickly and I was patient as it was Christmas. My car was written off and I was told they could scrap it for me then I would get the salvage cost once agreed. They gave me what the other insurer offered for value minus salvage. So good so far. Role on 6 weeks and I still haven't had the salvage value. No one replies to emails and promised call backs never happen. (The right person is oddly never available) I'm now left questioning whether to take them to court to get the rest of my money or report them to police for fraud and theft of my vehicle. Life lessons learned - triple check your Google findings and AVOID CONNEXUS AT ALL COSTS.

    The communication skills (or the lack of) at Connexus is none existence. It took Connexus over 1 month to transport my car back to the location of where it was picked up. The dent was on the driver door and a few scratches on the bonnet. I had taken my pictures and sent them to Connexus. They had sent me a lovely rental car. The forms you must fill out and send to Connexus could have been clearer. They asked for your address and driver licence number. It was not clear whether they wanted the address on the licence or the address of where the car will be picked up/dropped off. I entered the address on the licence and sent it off. Just to clarify the details were correct, I called Connexus the day I sent my form and even the day after to confirm where my car will need to be picked up and dropped off. They confirmed they had the right address and told me they amended the documents. Soon after, my car was picked up from the correct address, which was a relief but I was told it would be sent to a garage from a different county. I called Connexus again to confirm that my car would be sent to the agreed address which they confirmed it would be. Time passed; I received a text message stating my car will be repaired by 07.10.22. Then a few days later I received another message that my car would be repaired by 11.10.22. Nothing had happened after that date. So, from the 12th -18th October I called Conexus every day to get an update on my car and everyday I was told a different statement. At the end of each call, I asked the Connexus representative to call me back once they have news from the garage (as they should be receiving a daily update from the garage) and not once did they call me back. When my car was finally ready, the garage called and told me my car cant be sent to my address and that Connexus would need to transport it back. When I called Connexus they told me I had to pick up my car within a few days from the garage now or it would be sent back to the address on licence. Even though the Connexus representative, Lewis, admitted that the car was originally going to be dropped to the SAME LOCATION IT WAS PICKED UP, he was adamant that they would not send me my car back. This went on for over a week. Until I called once again to find a final resolution, they told me they would transport my car and pick up the rental car. P.S my car still has chips and scratches on the bonnet, so when I called Connexus to sort the situation out, I was told Lewis was busy and hell call me back again. Still no call back. They are an atrocious accident claims company and if my insurance company hadnt picked Connexus as their claims company, I would never have chosen them myself.
