Not sure why they promote this a childrens salon, they definitely dont have the patients for toddlers at all and the staff are SO rude after an hour of waiting to be seen my 1 year of course was bored of sitting so he was causing no harm in no1s way walking up and down by the seating area and got told to sit him down - safe to say we left and wont be returning again.

Would not recommend this salon for the sheer fact the rudeness my brother in law experienced when taking my nephew who has additional needs , the woman was utterly disrespectful and has no empathy for those with special needs. Do not state you accommodatefor those with additional needs because clearly you dont ! Shocking service all round see pictures on previous post for the shoddy job ! Not suitable for children

As with other reviews written. My daughter took her two boys here today. She said she won't be going back, she was made to feel uncomfortable and staff were very rude. She left really quite upset with their attitude. Definitely would not recommend

I do not recommend the salon at all. We went because my son loves steering wheels and thought this would help regulate him during the cut. Unfortunately, the staff is rude, mainly the female working here. On arrival, my son was crying as he entered the shop. My son is autistic and struggles with transitions to different places, but once deep pressure is applied, he regulates again. The female tried to escort my son and partner out because he was crying. My partner explained he would settle in a minute, which he did, and he sat there on his dad's knee. The whole time my partner was there, he was made to feel uncomfortable. When it was finally time to get my son's hair cut, they requested that my son stayed on his dads knee and he began to cry because they were rushing his cut. He didn't move; he just cried while the man cut his hair while the lady was puffing and panting because it was a Saturday! My son wasn't doing any harm or misbehaving; he was just crying and wasn't regulated because he wasnt in the car . It was clear he wasn't wanted in the salon. Then, as my partner was paying, a comment was made, "We shouldn't do distressed customers today as it upsets other customers." The other customers were not upset; they were understanding, unlike the staff!! The Disability Discrimination Act of 1995 (DDA), is intended to reduce the discrimination faced by many disabled people. Part three of the act requires service providers to ensure they are providing accessible goods, facilities, and services (GF&S) to their customers. All businesses are required to make 'reasonable adjustments to their GF&S for their customers. People with disabilities don't always have access to the same opportunities as everyone else. This salon is certainly not like this. No parent should be made to feel a burden because their child has a disability and just shed a few tears. I would not recommend this salon for a child with additional needs.

Pictures above 1 from last time in the car where my son was fine. Today's haircut was an absolute joke. Absolutely disgusted with today's experience with my 2 year old son. Booked in for a child's haircut to be given jargon about distressed children's haircuts are not done on Saturdays but only Thursdays. We'll that's great but people have jobs and work so I'll take my chances as my son is hit and miss whether he will be upset or not as he is autism and has sensory processing disorder so different situations can trigger him. Literally soon as I walked through the door he was abit distressed as having his hair cut obviously isn't a regular place to him it was a senory overload. Straight away the lady is basically saying if he carries on and doesn't calm down you will have to leave we won't cut his hair Saturdays. I thought abit rude but it'll be fine he'll calm down in a minute which he did as you can see on the before picture while waiting he was calm and relaxed. When it came to having a haircut I said to the man he normally goes in the car to be asked to sit my son on my knee as he was calm sat with me while waiting so I said fair enough we'll do that. The haircut started we'll as the man used the scissors and comb for the top but said he will have to use clippers on the side. Soon as the clippers were on sensory overload kicked in and my son was winging abit but not excessively struggling or trying to get out the chair. However from this point on the haircut was rushed and shoddy the fringe is a mess the back of the hair isn't even blended in and I got charged 16. I will never bring my son or any of our 4 children here again the cheek to charge extra for children that get distressed is absolutely disgraceful. This is supposed to be a child friendly day salon but turns out they're only child friendly if your child is perfectly silent and still. Maybe they should try cutting old people's hair they may sit more still and not cry. Overall I think this place should be ashamed to call themselves a child's salon/barbers absolutely disgraceful. Service: Kids' cuts
