I would highly recommend houghton's, they shown compassion and professionalism through out, Trish was so helpful, and went above and beyond to help me, with my uncle's funeral, she put me at ease at a time when i already had been through so much, giving me peace of mind, thanks you to everyone for your kindness and compassion.

Exceptional from start to end there to offer help and support every step of the way. Polite courteous and respectful. Looked after my mum just under two years ago and my dad today could not have asked for a more professional or attentive service cannot recommend highly enough

Two hours after we lost our mum we walked in to Houghton's feeling bewildered and having no idea what to do. Trish immediately made us feel at ease, she was so welcoming and friendly and genuinely caring. She made the saddest time of our life a lot more bearable and my brother and I will be forever thankful for all her help and support. When you lose a parent you immediately feel as though you need a 'grown-up', even when you're in your thirties - Trish was exactly who we needed. Thanks again Jules, Nick and Sarah xxx

The care compassion and kindness that we were shown was incomparable. We were filled with such a sense of relief from the moment we were greeted by the lovely Trish offering us tea. I personally knew my beloved dad would be looked after and cared for by her and the team as I would have cared for him myself. The arrangements she helped us make made an awful time a little less awful and on the day of Dads funeral the care and attention was faultless. I can not express the feeling of thanks and gratitude I feel and words are not enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . My dad would have loved Trish and I know he would be so happy that we gave her the massive responsibility of keeping him safe.
