Quite a nice spot on Manchester Ship Canal. Newer ferry with an engine replacing an old man-powered one. Some of the old signage still in place and still cheap to cross! Nice to see it in operation.

Martin(the Captain) is a joy to chat too. The short trip was very interesting with facts from the captain about the effects of the recent floods.

Used it today after a trip to see the concrete barges down the way. Really nice way to cross the canal, cap'n was a lovely chap, with just a donation to the Poppy appeal
