Martin came to see me to quote for a job to install some new sockets and cables for my cinema room. I knew martin was very busy but he agreed to work around his existing jobs to fit me in. The price was very competitive and Martin clearly knew his stuff as he advised me on the best location for the wiring and suggested the best way to achieve what I wanted. Shortly after Martin started the work, it became clear that the job was going do be more difficult than anticipated. The walls were sand and cement render making it a nightmare to channel and the floorboards which Martin had to remove, to fit new wiring, were slim with deep tongue and groove connections making them extremely difficult to work on. Despite this, Martin was able to make good progress only having to stop to accommodate the decorator and plaster. To make Martin;'s life even more difficult, i decided half way through the job that i needed new light fittings installed. Martin didn't even bat an eyelid at this request despite having to work longer hours to get the job done and he kept me updated on his progress throughout, always remaining chatty and upbeat. I cant thank Martin enough for completing what, in the end, proved to be a really challenging job. Martin is a friendly, genuine, reliable and down to earth tradesman and you cant go wrong if you decide to hire him. PS I've got a few more jobs in mind for 2023 if you're interested martin!!
