        Service was fine, but the exchange rate was woeful. Better using Revolut, Starling, or similar services

        Absolutely devastated, I recently went to Ireland where i won 2525 euros in a casino and brought this back to the Uk. I dropped into Eurochange warrington branch as I am going to Las Vegas in a few months i decided to convert my winnings into dollars directly from euros. The lady who served me told me this is not possible I would have to change back into the local currency gbp then covert to dollars (I thought this was fishy maybe its a rule idk but doesn't sound right) . I don't go away too often so trusted i was going to get a decent deal and it would only be a marginal loss, the coversion worked at around 2525 euros equalled around 1838 gbp then converted to dollars was about 2111 USD. My friend said we are in a hurry so accepted this ( i should have gone with my gut but my fault) when i checked comparison sites online when i got home i was absolutely gob smacked, selling my euros would of got me about 2100 gbp approximately and then the converting this to USD would of been around 2500 USD this is a discrpency of 400 dollars. Will never use this place again as it seems high street exchanges are in general just a rip off. Again my fault but absolutely shocked at the amount it wasn't like 30 of 40 they made off with but the equavilent of 400 dollars it cost me. I have more dollars to get in future and rest assured I will be doing it online.

        Best rates by far and they give you back what you paid for your currency as long as you have 30% of it left on return.

        Decent rates for the high-street, but beware of the 'buy back' add-on that they try to force upon you. For most people it is not worth it
