Personal information (for who knows how many people, including myself) has made it's way to nefarious parts of the web. Name, NI number, address, dob etc. Despite having not used them or one of their subsidiary's for over 7 years, they are still hanging on to all my data. Interesting. It has taken them 11 months to notify me of this breach, during which time any manner of credit fraud or identity theft could have taken place. What recompense should be proffered to fix this mess I hear you ask?
A 12 month Experian membership. At least that would be the case if the activation code worked... OPTIONIS, how am I supposed to check if I'm the owner of a second house, or Lamborghini on lease in Zimbabwe when the code doesn't work???
