Engine management light on within days of ownership, I handed the car back to Auto Seven to get looked into, on hand over Imran advised he knew of the issue but never told me before sale or bothered fixing it, after their garage looked into it I was told theres nothing wrong with the car and to ignore the fault.
The issue was still happening so I took the car into Audi main dealer and they found misfires on 2 cylinders and a faulty knock sensor, along with corroded brake hoses, worn ball joints, faulty handbrake pads as material missing, brake pad wear sensor wire cut, coolant leak from the reservoir and brake fluid overdue requires replacing, also check brake pad warning light on dash.
I called Auto Seven the following day and made them aware of the issues found and that I want a refund rather than repairs which is reasonable as the purchase was within 30 days and after spending 39,000 on a car you dont expect all these issues but they refused my request. I got in touch with trading standards and solicitors who wrote letters to the dealer and they still refused to take the car back, eventually had a second opinion done by Warrantywise to back up findings and they found all same issues as Audi but still they refused refund.
My solicitor advised it may take up to 2 years to sort out in court and quite a substantial amount of funds with an uncertain outcome so I had no other option but to accept to the repairs. Repairs did not include the corroded brake hoses or ball joints as they claim they havent failed but obviously pose a safety risk so I have had to pay to get these areas done myself. Also in the process found both rear wheels have multiple cracks/welds and an oil leak, as well as the check brake pads warning light still being on, I told Auto Seven about this and they advise they wont do anything about it so Ive been left with this error light on my dash, not good with the MOT coming up in a months time.
Avoid this company, they claim they do pre vehicle inspections but they clearly dont as I was sold an Audi R8 with multiple issues which is not what you should expect when buying a car for 39,000 from a dealership, refused my request of refund and forced into getting repairs done, car was sold with fresh MOT with zero advisories done by garage of their choice, shouldve had many advisories if not a fail. I traded in my Audi S3 in excellent condition and in the process got a faulty Audi R8. Dont usually leave reviews but had to make people aware of this bad experience with this dealer and to avoid them.
