They did a walk around my home etc all good. I didnt hear anything. I chased on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only to get a text saying they couldnt actually do the job thus wasting my time.
I wouldnt go near as they are extremely unreliable and the owner clearly has no idea how to run a business.

I have been in contact with Jason since 21/09, and they told me they dont have much availability in September but that they have loads of availability in October, completely free (a huge red flag). On 23/09, just two days later, when they finally got the time to get me a quote, they informed me their nearest available date was 06/10. I wasnt happy about it, and Jason told me that they have been getting a crazy amount of calls, and now they are fully booked until then. I didnt have a choice and agreed and wanted to make a payment to secure the dates, so we do not run into the same issue. He told me they are unable to take payments yet (RED FLAG) to confirm the date. They do not take deposits probably because they do not want to commit to it if a better deal with a higher paying customer arises. Imagine having a customer begging to pay your deposit, and you refuse?? Why would you if you were honest?
Regardless I asked him that I needed confirmation for peace of mind that I am not happy with this as he would leave us hanging with worry. He told me there was nothing to worry about and that he could even send me a writing confirmation. He assured me this date was confirmed entirely and nothing to worry about.
The following day on 24/09, he told me that his lorry driver HAS HAD to self isolate as one of their labourers tested positive for COVID-19.
I attached a photo of this because YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL if you book through them. Make a backup plan.
Self-isolation takes 10 days. The moving date was due on 06/10, putting the isolation up until 03/10 and not the 6th.
Not only that, he could not book us in anymore, which was already CONFIRMED and booked yesterday (not provisional), but he cannot book us in for the foreseeable future. We can move into the new home up until 26/10, which is over 20 days in the future after the scheduled date of 06/10. It is also 13 days from today until the planned move.
I am susceptible to these situations, and of course, he can self isolate for 10 days as per government guidelines. Still, our move is in almost two weeks, and these coupled with everything that has happened leads to the conclusion that these are just excuses used by the company to conduct the business however they please.
He never even said whether the driver is double jabbed (as per government guidelines, you do not have to self-isolate if you test negative and had your final jab). He never even offered to fulfil the booking still since it was confirmed and maybe offer 2 Luton vans removal to achieve their promises still. Neither he offered to move the date accordingly since we can move until 26/10. He did not want to do the job; otherwise, as a trusted and reliable company, you come up with solutions.
It is not an issue of COVID when you cannot take a job in the foreseeable future when you have a timeline of more than 30 days to move?
Additionally, we were quoted 540 through reallymoving, where they claim to get all of their business. Still, they do not fulfil the exact quote (Jason quoted me 620, but I never said anything, and I accepted it).
Customers are just disposable until the next better deal comes along.
You do not have to take me at my word; maybe this wont be the case with you, but BE CAREFUL, just in case.
