        Six of us (plus dog) came here for a birthday meal, which also happened to fall on Easter Sunday. The food was excellent and the portions generous. Service was swift and faultless. The landlord in particular is great fun and absolutely made our visit. Nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel so welcome and even gave us a brief history of the village, along with some tips for our stay. We are so grateful to him for the kindness and hospitality he showed us. I hope one day we can return to this smashing little gem. Thank you again.

        Fantastic food. Brilliant atmosphere. A pleasure to bring the mother-in-law back - for the first time in 77 years. She really enjoyed it but it has changed since her last visit
