The Oaks self catering West Sussex

The Oaks is a wonderful site, secluded and private. The site is as advertised, basic but with the necessary amenities. It was very peaceful, and the sheep close by were a lovely addition to the whole experience. The hosts were cultivating wild flowers and grasses which meant there were areas of the site which were not cut. This added to the peace and tranquility of the setting. The small caravans to rent were spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The hosts were friendly without interferring, and offered help when we needed. There were beautiful walks around the site, great local pubs and Horsham town centre was nearby for stocking up on provisions. I can't fault the site or the hosts. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in the annexe apartment for a week and had a lovely time. Such beautiful grounds, the apartment was clean and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware, and Emma was such a welcoming and helpful host. A truly restful and tranquil place. Our son particularly enjoyed greeting the chickens every morning and evening. From the Oaks we were able to get to Arundel and Petworth very easily by car; West Wittering and Worthing (for the seaside) were also just a bit further along. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had a truly wonderful month-long stay in this charming accommodation. Emma was a welcoming and generous host, always very responsive and easily reached by Whatsapp. The space was large, spotlessly clean and well-equipped with nearly everything we could possibly need and it was a joy to visit the chickens and sheep every morning and roam the beautiful grounds. We found the wi-fi to be very speedy and if only there had been a washing machine, we could have quite easily moved in full-time! Thank you to Emma & Adrian for having us!
