The shop is spotlessly clean inside, the service is always brilliant, and if I ask for preparation or cooking advice I get it. Can't say enough! Well worth paying for the quality. Also, if your kitchen knives are getting blunt, ask them about their sharpening service. They'll do it.

Brilliant meat and service. Sausages are delicious, just the right texture and the bacon is immense as it's just a little thicker than other places. The free range chickens are mind blowing with such fantastic flavour. I've saved the diced beef for last as it's the best I've ever had, so full of flavour and so tender; where it's a casserole, a Bolognese type sauce or a curry this beef is exceptional. Had a hog roast these guys did for a family wedding and it was exceptional too. So lucky to have this shop on my doorstep but I'd travel miles for meat of this quality.

Great butcher - really know their stuff & will give ideas for cooking if you see a cut of meat but are not sure what to do with it. They stock local produce of high quality.
