My wife and I stayed here at the Shepherd's Hut in late June while visiting the area for a couple of days. The setting is quaint and secluded; the Hut itself is small but well equipped for a few days' stay. The owners were welcoming and kindly provided towels upon our realisation that we hadn't packed them! The Hut is within walking distance of a Tesco Expresss and Chinese takeaway although a car is required to go further into the town. There is no wifi provided (understandably difficult to implement) so we had to rely on my mobile data connection to watch Game of Thrones S6E10. I'm with EE and managed to get 4G and H in the hut - YMMV. Overall, it was a pleasant stay although not suited to much longer than a couple of days. Would definitely recommend to couples on a budget who want a unique alternative to your standard hotel!
