SuzieQ Dance Events

I recently used Suzie Q dance events for my daughters 7th birthday party. I wanted a hassle free party having always hosted the previous ones myself and I got exactly what I wanted. We went for a Pop Princess party and for the full 2 hours the girls were kept thoroughly entertained with a range of age appropriate activities and the dance part of the party was excellent. They all had so much fun and Leanne was so lovely with the girls. Brilliant party, great value for money, I would highly recommend.

We had dance lessons from Siobhan for the first dance for our wedding - it was so much fun, relaxed and we had such good feedback about our first dance!

So glad to have chosen the perfect person for us. I was hesitant at first as I have disabilities so from my first contact she never pestered me at all. I often asked her questions and she patiently. Answered any of my concerns and told me she had worked with people in wheelchairs. I use to dance before having mobility problems so it was difficult for me to go back and dance knowing I can't do it as I use t. She was always so understanding and be it last minute in the end she managed to squeeze are lessons in bless her, and we are very grateful. She was wonderful and coped well with my tears as my partner was better than me lol!! Anyway, she put a wonderful routine together for what I was capable of... We went for the bigger package and wanted to do a cheeky pretend dirty dancing at the end which we did. She also was patient for me to try on different shoes to get the right ones as I had 11 wedding shoes lol a long story!!! I also lost vision in my right eye days before our first lesson so let's say she had her challenges with us but took it in her stride, so wonderful and always smiling and the lessons were fun. Un,fortunately on the day, our DJ played the wrong song but she taught us so well we still nailed it. On top of all this she saved our honeymoon by recommending a wonderful kennel for our fur baby that we were struggling to find a good place for him. So we are even more grateful!!! I contacted SuzieQ Dance Events about doing a dance at my 40th birthday party at Warlingham Rugby Club and I couldn't be happier with the service I received! Siobhan met with my husband and I at our house to discuss ideas and she had a brilliant idea of doing a flash mob. She helped choose the perfect song and edit it so that it was perfect for a big group dance. Leanne then came to 2 rehearsals with a big group of my friends and we had a great laugh learning the dance she had choreographed. She put us all at ease and helped us make a video to learn from. Then she came to the party on the night, liaised with the DJ and the whole thing was seamless. The dance went down brilliantly and then Leanne taught the chorus to all the guests. She was fun and encouraging and everyone loved it. I've got a video memory to last a lifetime and it really got the party going on the dancefloor. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough as they will tailor your dance to whatever your needs! A brilliant service from start to finish.

We cannot recommend Siobhn at SuzieQ Dance Events enough - She is absolutely fantastic! My partner and I knew that we wanted to do a first dance at our wedding, but I was now getting married in a wheelchair (following a SCI two years ago), and my now husbandwell, hes never been a confident dancereven with two functioning legs!!! Bottom line - we were keen, but both extremely nervous! We knew that we wanted to do a dance to an upbeat song that we loved, so we chose You Make My Dreams Come True, and Siobhn created the rest!! Not only did she come up with beautiful choreography to suit us as a couple, as well as creating a great routine to incorporate the wheelchair, but she made us both feel so at ease from the very first lesson. My partner, who is never usually stuck for words, was silent with terror for about 20 minutes of the first lessonbut once Siobhn had chatted with us and got us going with some moves, he was absolutely loving it! Our dance lessons with Siobhn not only brought us both so much joy, but they helped us reconnect and have fun as a couple, during what could have been a few stressful weeks leading up to the big day!! Our family and friends were kept in the dark about our routine - and when they were surprised with it on our wedding day, everyone was beaming for us and loved it! It was by far mine and my husbands highlight of our day, and a memory we will treasure forever. Siobhn not only created a fun and fantastic first dance routine for us, but she gave us both the confidence to perform it, and the happiness and enjoyment that came with it. If you are wanting to do a first dance and you are a bit nervous about it, or simply just want help to create something spectacular and different, (as well as having a laugh during the process!!), we could not recommend SuzieQ Dance Events to you enough!! You will not be disappointed - Siobhn is talented, patient, kind, and hilarious!!.just go for it!!You wont regret it!! Thank you for giving us such precious memories, Siobhn. Chloe & Loz
