Kate looked after our family recently during a very tough time with our newborn and we were so grateful for her. She was truly like having a mum or sister whether it was a cup of tea, sandwich, breastfeeding support, holding the baby while I showered, giving tips from her own experiences and so much more. She was a huge support to us and worth her weight in gold and we hope to keep in touch with her in the future as we really made a friend! I highly recommend her services.

Kate helped me following the birth of my twins, supporting me when my husband returned to work. Her help was invaluable - she comforted the babies, brought us a meal, tidied around the house, and helped me at the weigh in clinic and vaccinations. She brought a sense of calm, and was encouraging, empowering, non-judgemental and easy to chat with. She made the transition to coping on my own with 3 children so much smoother!

Having been around and seen the positive and relaxed way Kate has birthed and raised her children, I only wish services like this were around when I had my son and daughter 18 years ago. We are the only species that do not listen to our natural instinct, and even though I was a first time mum, I knew something was seriously not right but I was powerless. It was put down to inexperience. Unfortunately saying sorry doesn't help after. Kate's experience, kindness, calmness and lack of judgement are fitting qualities of a Doula I would have loved to have at my side.
