Stayed here for a family wedding loved this place from when we arrived to when we left. the staff where polite and helpful we ate from there restaurant the 1st night everyone enjoyed there food and service was prompt and breakfast was good as well. loved the decor in the function and hotel side of the property our room was nice and clean cleaners do a great job. all the staff at the event where amazing the food was very good as well and served very efficiently for the amount of us would definitely stay there again if in area I must say the 2 mens toilets where the nicest and cleanest pub toilets Ive ever seen

We have now stayed at The Sun Hotel twice for short family breaks and would definitely return again. Great location, good sized family bedroom, friendly staff and delicious food, even better now breakfast is included in the price. This was a great base from which to travel to some fantastic spots around Northumberland and lovely to come back to with a view of the ruins of Warkworth Castle from the pub and hotel room. Nearby activities: Warkworth Castle, Amble Marina, Alnwick castle and gardens, Seahouses for boat tours.
