CABOSSE

Possibly the chocolatiest hot chocolate ever. Coffee also good. Shop had just what we needed for some last minute Christmas chocolate stocking fillers.

When we went a week or so ago, the back part was closed for refurbishment, which was totally understandable. The lady who served us was so sweet and kind and took such delicate care in bagging our purchases. We both got almond croissants and they went down a treat with both ourselves and the ducks that stole the piece that I sadly dropped on the floor. The chocolates are delicious, they have some cute options too- we got a bee chocolate. They also sell some fantastic felted and crocheted items; of which we purchased a fair few. Cabosse is great and I highly recommend buying as much as you can carry.

What a Delight! Louise Frederique is a professional, cordon bleu, chocolatire-ptissire. So please don't expect Cadbury's Dairy Milk. She does sell other select brands of chocolates but make sure to ask for her own hand-made ones. She can also make to order, e.g. for a special present. My brother-in-law and I are big fans. You will not be disappointed.

The cafe is closed since covid. You can get delighted hot chocolate to take away and buy chocolate here.

It's a chocoholic's dream... The patisseries are exceptional. Used to have a little cafe in the back, but now more of a gift shop with food-related goodies. The owner is a lesson in customer-service, such a delightful place
