Fantastic evening. Even though it was a little bit cloudy, we still got to see loads through the fabulously powerful telescope. The guide was great too, explaining exactly what to look for.

A super evening learning about the solar system, galaxy, constellations, and equipment used to see these. Chris, who lead us through the session was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He had some meteorites and handed them to the group to touch them! During the session, he retracted the roof, so that we can see the stars. It was a cloudy night, but we managed to see a glimpse of them with the naked eye. The telescope was used to see some of the constellations. It was a very enjoyable evening and plenty of curious questions were asked! It is a fantastic area to see the constellations and it has now sparked my interest in exploring this further! I didnt take much photos as we needed to avoid white lights, so our eyes could see the stars in darkness!

Great night here with Chris Duffy as our host. Even though the weather was teasing us bouncing between cloudy and clear we had a great night learning about the universe For stargazing naive people like me, even the moments with the binoculars looking at the Pleaides cluster or twinkling Sirius will be breathtaking Getting out on to the decks and orientating yourself based on Polaris and how the sun/moon/constellations moves through the sky gives you a taste of how many would have lived and been at one with nature pre GPS and smart devices We were fuelled by the free tea/coffee /soups well into the night and enjoyed every moment. Thank you Chris
