Stayed here in the shepherd's hut as a belated birthday treat. Booked via air bnb and due to last minute was unable to book due to 48hr rule - contacted the host and they were extremely accommodating. When we arrived we were met by the host and shown and told about the hut. Cosy atmosphere with a log burner and hottub outside with amazing views. Dark skies area so in a clear night, the view of the moon and stars is unmatched. Bed set up so you could lie in bed and watch the sunset or watch it from the hottub. Local sausage, eggs and bacon in the fridge for breakfast. Lots or land and walks to explore and animals to talk to! Farm is a working farm but you don't hear them really so you forget about this.

Little quiet paradise in Northumberland! What a beautiful location, this holiday rental is definitely one for relaxation and cutting yourself off from everyday stresses. Claire and Lewis were fabulous, in fact the whole family on site were kind, friendly and very helpful. Its the first time my family stayed here, we rented both the lodge and farmhouse and both accommodations were spotlessly clean with all amenities accommodated for even down to dog bowls, toys and towels for my fur babies. We didn't let the weather beat us as we spent the majority of the cold days in and out of the hot tubs, evening time was spent chilled on the comfy farmhouse sofas with log fire. We have already booked for next year to visit in the summertime so will be looking forward to exploring the countryside on foot! This place is a must stay
