Hotel, Room and bar very good, our room was excellent, spotlessly clean, warm, bright and serviced with everything you would require, from fresh fruit, tea/coffee, fresh milk etc.
Our evening meal was enjoyable but the menu lacked real inspiration.
No tasting menu, which was a shame.
Restaurant is dog friendly, it's not my cup of tea particularly when owners allow them to stray from their table, sudden barks also doesn't help while eating.
I do understand allowing families to bring dog's helps the business but personally restricted to one eating area.
Wark is a very pretty village on the banks of the river North Tyne
