This is the first negative review I've ever written however I felt my duty to let other patients or prospective patients know of how poor this facility is. This is the third string of poor experiences from Wargrave Pharmacy having given them the benefit of the doubt on prior occassions. This time just speaking to a Doctor has proven to much to ask. -Monday I called to make an appointment at 8am whereby I was told to call back at 9 and at which point I was told I couldn't make appointments for following days -Called Tuesday to be told there were no appointments left for that day -Called Wednesday to confirm appointment, only one slot that was unsuitable -Called Thursday around 9 as on all occassions to be told there were no appointments but I could arrange a call from the Doctor the following day between 8 and 11 AM. -I agreed and confirmed the number they had. Needless to say I was left calling at 12.30PM to express I hadn't had a call. The opperator said the Dr had called but the number was wrong. They confirmed it seemed they had a Data Breach. I confirmed my number and they said a Dr will call by the end of the day. -No call by 5PM hence I called again to be told 'don't worry Sir, we are open until 18.30 and you will get a call. -Of course, no call again. My issue for speaking to the Doctor has now become very serious as a consequence of this poorly run Surgery. At least 6 agreements made by staff which weren't fulfilled. Will the call ever come, what a dreadful experience.

Wow! I called this surgery today for my daughter who has recently moved to wargrave and registered at this surgery. My daughter has many allergies-mainly medications. Today she had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen-thankfully not life threatening but she needed some of the medication to help. I phoned the surgery to ask if they could get a dr to call her. The receptionist was so rude! Told me we had to ring 999, I did explain that the reaction did not require an ambulance, just the medication that she normally has. Her attitude was disgusting! Whilst I was talking she actually said goodbye! And hung up!!!! THANK GOODNESS THE START OF THE RECORDED MESSAGE FOR THE SURGERY STATES CLEARLY THAT ALL CALLS TO RECEPTION ARE RECORDED-All we need now is someone to listen to this receptionist and decide if she really is in the right job. I called back immediately, when my call was answered and I said hello, they hung up again! PLEASE LISTEN TO THE CALLS WARGRAVE SURGERY. I phoned back again and was told to call at 8 tomorrow morning. Just what is the point?? Really? Its an allergic reaction, she knows how to deal with it but just needed a prescription. Absolutely shocking treatment. I thought my own surgery was terrible but this is a whole new level of useless.

I called today to register at this surgery due to moving into the catchment area. Receptionist was extremely rude. The call lasted two minutes before I decided to end the call due to the way I was spoken to. Manners cost nothing!

I have attempted to speak with a GP on a visit to the nurse. An elderly male receptionist was very rude and errogant in response. When then trying to get an appointment for a later date it was responded by his colleague seating behing a computer with "what does he want now?". I have never felt so badly treated anywhere. This is a disgrace. NHS stands for National Health Service. They seems to have forgotten what service means in that surgery.
