Bushnell Marine Services Ltd

We helped a client by booking a crane slot for their new boat to be launched at Bushnells. When the boat arrived with the haulier from Cornwall it had an aluminium mast with it that the new boat owner wasnt expecting. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to erect the mast and the haulier wasnt able to take it away. A member of bushnells staff said they could possibly lend the boat owner an angle grinder so he could quickly cut the mast in half to make it easy for him to take away himself. When politely asked if he could offer any assistance with a solution, David Bushnell shouted at us and very aggressively refused to offer any help whatsoever. Not to help is his prerogative obviously, and we wouldnt have even mentioned it if the chance of a bit of assistance wasnt offered up by his staff. The lack of help is not the issue but he was so incredibly rude and aggressive to a female member of our staff that she was left very upset and shaken by the encounter. She remained polite and amenable throughout the situation whilst he unreasonably shouted at her. The rest of his staff were friendly and helpful but visibly embarrassed by his outburst. Ive edited this review to give more detail as Davids initial response was totally false and there were several witnesses that observed what actually happened. He then went on to leave our business a fake negative review stating rude staff. At no point whatsoever were we rude to him.

Just the best service we could have wished for from start to finish from David and the team. I had been looking for a Thames slipper for a while and was helped expertly and brilliantly through the process, and ended up buying a beautiful dinghy as well. Both prepared and delivered perfectly, and have been faultless since. So knowledgeable and helpful at all times, very highly recommended!
