NFU Mutual Wessex - Wareham

I was very impressed with how Oscar dealt with finding insurance for my Landrover. It was removed from our company fleet policy and I needed to insure it independently, but as I had no personal NC history the quotes from other insurers were astronomical. Oscar's knowledge and efficiency ensured cover quickly and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend insuring with the NFU.

NFU provided us with insurance for our home & contents and allowed us to provide air BnB for guests. James Gamble looked after us and could not have been more helpful. Prior to this, I spent 16 days looking for a company that would provide what we needed. I was extremely relieved and grateful to find a reputable company that could cover all our various insurance needs and also allow us to rent our annexe for holidays. If our holiday let had been separate to our main house it would have been much easier to insure but for some reason most companies do not want to offer that option. James spent a very long time kindly answering all our questions and when specialist answers were needed he asked the underwriters and phoned us back. Our situation was a bit complicated so he spent much of the afternoon kindly getting answers for us. He always got back to us which is something I could not say for some other companies that I have phoned in the last 2 weeks. Because NFU look after famers and farmers often do holiday letting, NFU offer a much wider range of insurance than most companies. We are not farmers but we have slightly unusual needs and they covered all of them. James could not have been more helpful or supportive. I know that NFU are top of the Which magazine list of recommended insurers so I have great confidence in them. I love the fact that they have local offices. I adore the fact that they answer the phone really quickly and have intelligent helpful agents who speak clearly and treat you like a human being. I really like the fact that they are mutual and are more concerned with looking after their customers than providing profits for share holders - it really shows. They feel like a proper old fashioned insurance company that actually cares. I recently discovered that some of the people I know that offer air BnB thought they were insured but were not. Main companies say that your whole policy is invalidated if you offer air BnB. I was shocked at how hard it was to get proper cover for our needs. Thank you again for all your help. I feel I am in safe hands.
