Spurwing Guest House UK

We had a fantastic stay here in Wareham. Good access to he road and a short walk to the train station make it a great location. Although town is a good walk. The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean, with a garden view. Richard and Steph were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was made to order and most excellent. I heartily recommend a stay here and Wareham itself as a great location.

We had a very nice stay with Steph and Richard. Exceptionally clean and breakfast was really good. We would recommend it very highly as a place to stay Something to be aware of which is in the small print. We had booked a four night stay which we gave notice while en route we would have to cut short by one day due to personal issues. This was acknowledged by Steph as ok the following morning. When I came to pay i was charged the full amount as they require 7 days notice of cancellation. It is on there booking confirmation... but I missed it Richard and Steph very kindly donated to the charity we were doing a sponsored walk for ,which I thought was very generous. They informed me,when I asked for clarification on why I had been charged the full amount , they told me about their policy and had made the donation was as a goodwill gesture for part of the cost of the one night . I feel they should have said that they would be charging the full amount when they saw us on the first day of our stay and we spoke about the situation , my fault for not reading confirmation. We stayed in the Spoonbill room ,a nice large well appointed room the only draw back is its private bathroom is across the side entrance corridor. Location :- it's in a nice road and a great base for Corfe castle etc but the walk into or from Wareham is not that inviting at dusk... Still a 5 star place to stay.
