Barnards Way Post Office

The post office was a small box in corner of shop. The shop is a small and cramped, no room for wheelchairs or prams. The staff are really polite, pleasant and friendly.

Dont make a special trip, they do not seem to stick to their advertised opening hours.

Excellent service and convenient for fresh food items. The lady on the post office is very helpful, and spent over twenty minutes helping me to get a cheaper parcel rate once. Great selection of Wessex Mill flours and a selection of home made Samosas, Spring rolls at the front counter. This local amenity is a godsend, especially as it is easy to park.

Repeatedly bad service This lady who works the counter never acknowledges you when you arrive, never smiles and just generally has no personality and service qualification at all. The post office, she told me was shut (3:15pm!!!!) but did take my parcel in the end. She always makes you feel as if you are a nuisance when actually customers are providing her with a job! Had to bite my tongue as she is always like this.

The Caucasian lady who works the counter is very helpful and pleasant at all times. Always good with her advice on postage options.
