I would like to start of by saying that I'm quite a regular at this location. Its about a 15 minute walk from my house so I would usually take my tiny chihuahua on a morning walk to and back from the store ("killing two birds with one stone" as the saying goes :D). They've got one of the best tasting pastries out of all the Greggs I've visited and would be very accommodating and welcoming whenever we visited. Now on to my today's experience, I haven't visited this store in a while as I was on a vacation so I've decided to get back into my morning routine only to enter the Greggs area and have a tall white bloke refuse to serve me saying that no dogs are allowed. I tried to reason with him but he wouldn't budge so I simply walked out and will most likely never visit again, as I hate to have my time wasted and will not go there if there's a high chance I will be refused service. What's interesting to me is that this Greggs is located inside of a petrol station with other stores operating in there too and no one has ever mentioned this rule before including the cashier at the petrol station. I understand that there might be a risk of contamination but its a tiny chihuahua who would almost always be tucked inside of my jacket with only its head pointing out whenever I visited.
