Leo and I loved our sessions in the forest - from the mud kitchen and amazing rope swing to the craft activities and the friendly nesting robins that would visit at circle time, it was a totally magical way to spend Tuesday afternoons. Rosalyn is really knowledgeable about the plant and animal life around the site and I learned many new things. It was especially wonderful to get a chance to see my three year old interacting and growing in confidence with the other children and adults, given I dont see this when he is at nursery. Thank you to the whole kinship team.

We have attended this forest school since my eldest was about two. The facilitators are lovely, and the circles to start and end are a wonderful way to come together and feel in community, inevitably a good number of parents in gratitude circle each week will say how grateful they are to be there, that this couple of hours in nature is the highlight of their week. The crafts we do are engaging and often we make such beautiful things - can highly recommend!

My young daughter and I have had a wonderful time with k.i.n, under trees, watching the seasons changes, tuning into the falling leaves, the direction of the sunlight and getting excited to see and hear Hoppy the robin singing along with us at circle time :-)

A big thank you to the Kinship team for a deeply connecting family event to celebrate the change of season the Hallows Eve. The atmosphere was so special. Kids got to plant a wood anemone bulb which looked like twigs. They made brooms with tinder and got to enjoy the sight where the forest school was usually run. It was magical as the wind swept the leaves down from the trees and seeing them dance between sunlight and shades. The team that ran the event was awesome. The Wilderthorns songs played whilst us sat there watching a fire being born. Rhiannon used the ancient Celtic method of flint and steel to make the fire. The whole family was mesmerised as we saw the fire grew bigger and bigger from a spark and the smoke twirling in the straw nest. Rosalyns story of hawthorn hedgehog brought deep reflection to my heart and I found myself wiping joyful tears from my face as the story unfolded. The kids were captivated by the movement and performance. The snack was flapjack and apple cordial. A refreshing change from the usual Halloween treats. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience
