I had ordered a number of times in 2020 very successfully and was happy with the response etc. Unfortunately i think something has happened. i hope Bill at Boxtrees is ok, as last month I bought some Box, transferred money onto the website, and other than an automated response have received nothing despite chasing via email, and trying to leave messages by answerphone (which says it is full up). I can only imagine the company has either gone under or has discontinued trading for some reason or other. The fact you can still order on the website and pay is going to be upsetting for people. As things stand it's one for Trading standards who can hopefully close down the website to stop people transferring money or find out what has happened! Please do not use this website in the meantime as you'll just be joining a growing amount of people disappointed and upset. Update: Having written off the order and ordered my hedges elsewhere, i was very surprised one day (about three months after initial order) to receive my Boxtrees order. I am not sure whether this was done intentionally or not but the hedges were of a larger size than i ordered and were in great condition. So maybe my overall view is if you care happy to wait, and are happy that you may not get any responses to your enquiries along the way then your hedges will turn up, and will be in great condition.

I have placed several orders with Boxtrees Nursery and until the last order in September this had proved very reliable and good value. However the last order was very poor indeed. I imagined Bill would be apologetic when he saw the images. However, I have had no reply to my calls or emails despite trying to keep things on a friendly level. This is disappointing. I will not be placing any further orders with this nursery, nor will I recommend it.
