Lovely staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, went for a family meal to celebrate my grandads passing and the staff were so accomodating. Food was amazing and is now a regular for my family (myself am a little out of area) fully recommended.

There is a reason why this pub is the no.1 rated in the area. What a place. You know its going to be good when they open at 5pm and have been going for years. Staff are amazing, the landlord in the kitchen, serving up food youd expect from a high class restauran the food and the options are insanely good. Reasonably priced for what you are getting compared to anywhere else. The welcome you receive is genuine and warm. Anything wrong? They sort it. Anything you need? They will go above and beyond to help. If you want to find a proper British pub and impress your friends, come here. BUT if you are doing food for a special occasion, make sure you call. And even if busy, they are great at accommodating. It never disappoints. Some of the 4 star and below reviews are hilarious, they literally say this place is amazing and that they solved any problem. You wont find that anywhere. This is a testament to British pubs and a must try!
