        Had a lovely light lunch today and I would like to commend George for her approach as I arrived, she was very helpful and friendly and did a great job. Also Monique who was our waitress and she went above and beyond for us and she was delightful. Thank you both so much. On the downside the ladies toilets leave a great deal to be desired.

        Nice setting and good food, but spoilt by some of the most disgusting toilets ever especially the ladies according to the wife. UPDATE, Thanks for your reply on a planned refurb which is good to know, however a refurb will not correct poor or minimal cleaning and no soap or toilet paper top-ups.

        Waited 15 minutes to be seated despite having a booking, then 15 minutes for our orders to be taken - including drinks. Asked for kids food asap but it came 45 minutes later after chasing. Adult mains (no starters) took 80 minutes from ordering. We had roast and they were awful - no stuffing or mash and only 4 tiny carrots. Pork was tough and some of the roast potatoes were awful with a really strange texture and taste. Ordered our own drinks at the bar as staff were nowhere to be seen. Manager gave us 1 meal for free because we'd "eaten it all" - 2 hours after arriving yes, we were hungry!
