        The staff and members were so friendly and even gave us a tour of the building. We had lunch which was a lovely and very reasonably priced

        I recently spent 4 days at the training centre doing my RYA Level 1 sailing and then RYA Powerboat Level 2. We had some challenging weather for the sailing with gusty conditions on day 1 and then low wind on day 2. The instructors and assistants were very friendly, helpful and patient, especially when we got stuck on the mud as we struggled to tack in the low winds. The area around the club is challenging when the tide is low, which meant we got to practice tacking a lot and I found it very rewarding once I got the hang of it. The powerboat course was a fun small group and I now feel confident to be in charge our our little motor dinghy if my husband wants a break from driving.
