Corotec Classic Car Preservation

I have had the best experience having my car rust-proofed by Mike. Service and attention to detail was top-notch and he kept me updated with pictures throughout the entire process. Mike is a really friendly guy who answered my millions of questions and always went the extra mile to assist me. I would not hesitate to use Corotec again in the future and wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Mike / Corotec did a great job at treating hidden rust and thoroughly applying anti corrosion treatments on my W124. Throughout the whole process, Mike kept me updated. 10/10 would recommend. The earlier the better.

It is very refreshing to find someone who really knows their business and takes pride in their work. Mike falls into this category. I took a Porsche 924 S for the rustproofing treating and the work was done to an immensely high standard. I now have no hesitation in taking it out in the rain. A few other jobs that needed attention were also done to a similar high standard. A squeal when steering on full lock as well as a non-functioning temperature gauge were a couple of the problems fixed. I would certainly use Corotec again when the time comes without hesitation. I'm so glad I decided to go with COROTEC for the rust treatment and prevention on my Daihatsu Copen. Knowing that Japanese cars are notorious for rust, I worried about what was going on underneath every time I drove it and knew it needed to be done at some point. Looking online, the first choice seemed to be between Waxoyl and Dinitrol treatment, but even within this there were some services that would offer to treat the underside within a day for a few hundred pounds, and evidently COROTEC offered a more involved service, but I felt that it was at least worth having an initial inspection with them. As soon as I met Mike I felt I'd made the right decision. He just clearly REALLY cares about classic cars, and about making them last forever! We had a look underneath together and I was a bit concerned at the amount of rust on show, but he was confident we'd be able to get it back to good condition. Over the couple of weeks my car was with him it became clear that the rust was quite a bit more extensive than first realised, and I knew that because he'd send me photos and videos of every bit of the underside and show what he'd found and what he was doing. He kept me up to date the whole way through, and I was more than happy to agree to a bit of extra work being done as I knew it would be worth it to have peace fo mind in the long run. Where the rust had fully eaten through the chassis he cut this out and welded new fresh metal in, and then coated Dinitrol underneath and into every nook and cranny. Knowing that he put the time and effort into removing all the rust and dead metal first BEFORE coating puts my mind at ease against any ongoing rust process happening under the surface. Above all Mike is just a very friendly and professional guy, who clearly takes pride in doing his job to the highest standard. Would highly recommend to anyone who cares about the long-term wellbeing of their car!
