Waltham Cross Dental Practice

I have been to other practices in the area and always felt money to be a major factor. Since I have transferred to Dipti Patel, I have been very impressed with the care I have received. She always makes me feel comfortable even when the task is difficult. She fitted me in that day when my tooth broke. She takes care to explain all the options and why they are necessary. She is up to date with new treatments. I would not go anywhere else. Neither would my daughter and her children

Im very surprised by the comments as my experience wasnt a very good one. I found the dentist to be extremely rude and sarcastic along with the dental nurse. So I had to book an appointment for my tooth, I payed 65 upfront for a band 2 nhs fee for me to come back and get filling done. I rescheduled my appointment twice because the first time I had covid and the second time I had a keyhole surgery done. I called the dentist to explain and on the phone she said its ok and that She will refund me the rest of the money if the procedure cant be done. When I did go in for the procedure (bare in mind you have to wait a week or 2 for appointments every time you reschedule), the dentist was trying to explain the issue with my tooth which I didnt quite understand. I feel she didnt even check my teeth properly. She then responded in a very sarcastic and rude manner ok I will explain it to you in English twice! Whilst her assistant was laughing in the background. Long story short, I needed to get a root canal which would have been under the same band but she said she cant do it and that she will refer me to a specialist. She didnt refund me the cost of fees I payed and never received treatment for which she said she would, and On top of that charged me again for a check up. I know it may not be much for some people, but its unfair to treat people like that especially with whats happening in the world today. Im definitely going to report to nhs England and PHSO/GDC to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Never going back

Dr Patel is the best dentist I have ever had! She was so amazing when I recently developed an abscess in a tooth. She helped me so much and will be forever grateful for the quick attention she showed me to alleviate this nightmare! Thank you Dr Patel!
