Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour

We have just finished an 8 week programme with Jan and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My 3 year old cockapoo Hector had severe separation anxiety and we had tried everything we thought of including other trainers but Jan was so understanding of Hectors needs and we have gone from not being able to walk to the front door without him barking and becoming distressed to being able to leave him for over an hour. This has changed our lives and exceeded anything we thought was possible but not only that we have built a relationship with Jan who is always there to contact and she genuinely cares which made the journey even better. If you are thinking of using Jan one million percent do it. It will change yours and your dogs life for the better!

We contacted Jan when our 11 month old cane corso stated destroying our home when left alone. His anxiety levels went through the roof. We tried a crate but he destroyed them. After speaking with Jan we decided to go ahead with the training. I will be honest the last 8 weeks have been a challenge, some days it felt like we would never progress but if you follow Jans advice it does works. We can now leave Otis for up to 2 hours and know that hes not stressed and we will have a house left when we get back. Jan is very patient and is always available to chat and support you through the stressful times.

Jan was great to work with & provided some really useful tips along the way. No question was too silly & Jan was always on hand to help & available to jump on a zoom if needed. Thankyou for your help Jan.

I was at such a loss before starting training with Jan, my dogs separation anxiety meant I couldnt leave him alone for any period of time. Jan has been so supportive and understanding during our 8 weeks together and has helped build my confidence in training hugely!

Jan really understood my dog's needs, being a rescue and coming from a not very nice environment, he needs special care. In a short space of time the changes were subtle but 100% there. I now have some tools to move forward with him and if I'm ever stuck or want to take his training to another level (which I will in the future), I will not hesitate to contact her. Plus, she's super bubbly and funny!
