Clean & Sew

My first time ever writing a Google review - but felt it neccesary considering the poor experience I had. Wish i had checked the reviews before hand but i needed a last minute clean, so I just bit the bullet and got it done. I took a 500 quid top to this store that had a few stains on it, was told it would be ready the next day and it was an easy job, when i arrived at the time suggested nobody was in the store, i came back a few hours later, the top was not well cleaned at all, still had stains on it (just slightly more faint than before) The worst part is the top was now at least a size smaller than when i took it in, so now no longer fits properly. Litreally only wore it once and now its ruined - Not a dry cleaner I would suggest to anyone. Services: Eco-friendly cleaning, Ironing, Laundry wash & fold

Heavy, full length, lined curtains taken in on a Monday. I was given a price and paid a deposit. The gentleman told me I could collect them anytime the following day. The following morning the curtains were cleaned, pressed and ready. Price charged was as quoted. I cannot complain.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE SHOP SHOULD BE SHUT!!! I wish I saw the reviews first, i went there on a whim as another local shop was closed and I needed alterations urgently. Absolutely horrifying ordeal, I cant comprehend how this shop remains open. The first time I went to pick my dress up it was not ready, it was lying on the side and the lady said the pin fell out and she forgot the placement, I said but you said you were just going to take it up the the lining underneath, she said she forgot and asked me to try it on again for her to pin (this was at the end of the day and said it would be done first thing in the morning, even though she continued to sit on calls and was clear she was in no rush to get done) I came back the next day later than the time she said, and she walked in behind me my dress was still LYING on the side over a dirty trolley. Baring in mind this is a bridesmaids dress. She wouldnt hand me my dress and said I will do now wait for 20 mins. I put my faith in her and said okay as I was desperate. I waited and foolish me being in a rush didnt try it on before leaving as I had to be back home for a client. Tried it on at home it was still WAY too long, barley anything taken off baring in mind it was a good foot too long. I then went back tried on for her again to pin, I came back and it was A MESS. The lining was longer than the dress, the dress was cut all uneven with shorter at the side. I nearly broke down in tears, I was so stressed. She said dont worry I will fix it, let me make it longer, I said okay I will come back as I believed she should fix her mistake. There was no ch age when I went back she said theres nothing she can do now, she stretched the dress in the presser to try make it longer. The dress is a different colour to what it went in as. All in all I went back into the shop 6 times and tried it on 5. Im absolute devastated and disgusted. My bridesmaid dress is absolutely butchered. Please avoid, someone shut them down. Im kicking myself for not listening to my instincts, the universe gave me so many chances to take My dress before the butchering, but I chose to have faith in humanity. Now Im left with a lopsided frumpy mishapen gown its been turned to trash Service: Alterations
