AWE Home Education CLUB

Awe provides a number of KS3, GCSE and IGCSE classes, which provide a fantastic, rounded, home-school education. The tutors are professional and knowledgeable but also warm and understanding. In GCSE Citizenship there's a coursework module which means that the class gets to work together on a project outside of class time. This is great for confidence boosting, organisational skills and classroom camaraderie. English IGCSE classes led by an inspiring teacher who teaches exam technique and cultivates a love of English, are highly interactive, with students supporting each other to become better writers. We've been home-schooling for a few years and are so grateful to have found Awe. Debbie who runs Awe is really lovely and answers all enquiries personally. My daughter is so happy and engaged with her learning at Awe. We could not ask for more!

My daughter was home educated from 2008 to 2019. Throughout that time she attended a variety of lessons and activities with AWE Club, from the exploratory Mad Science when she was 6 right up to GCSE science and maths. Debbie has a real knack of finding the right teachers to work with groups of children of different ages, abilities and learning style. Her science and maths tutors were some of her favourite people, even though maths is definitely not her favourite thing

AWE have been an immense boon with regard to our granddaughters home education. The quality of the lessons has been outstanding (she actually enjoys learning - for a change!), and the response to queries have been speedy and helpful. Highly recommended; would give more stars were that possible.

We are so happy to have found AWE - Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and understands the world of home educating having home educated herself. The tutors Debbie works with are first class. As parents there is an open line of communication with either Debbie or the teachers themselves which is great. Sometimes it can be daunting to have the sole responsibility of ensuring your child or young person has everything they need to grab their education with both hands and thrive but knowing we have some guided/ structured learning each week is a great comfort to me. It allows me peace of mind. On a practical side the lessons are easy to book and Debbie is always available to help you decide which lessons might suit your child or young person best. The teachers we have learnt with record sessions (audio) so if you have plans or want to take time out to do something spontaneous you can go ahead knowing a catch up sessions is there for you. AWE has provided us with the best of both worlds. Needless to say I would highly recommend them!
