Had my second appointment at this salon with the fabulous El. Ive recently moved to the area and El and the salon were recommended by my gym coach. Had my roots bleached and long scratty hair cut into a beautiful sharp bob. El listened to what I wanted and advised throughout. El and Mark are so welcoming and friendly, chatty and genuinely interested in me as the client. I got exactly what I wanted and was over the moon with the results. The price is incredibly reasonable, 40 cheaper than my last salon in Leytonstone. I cant recommend El and the salon highly enough. Thank you guys, Ill be back. What can I say. Fab I've found a good hairdressers at last. The owner and staff are very friendly. And the happy little friend with a waggly tail. I will be going back. And I would recommend them.

This was the most disappointing, painful and absolute worst salon experience I've ever had. Booked in to have my hair coloured with highlights, I'd been growing my natural colour our for months to grow out the previous dark colours I used to have. My hair was my natural brown colour and grey and ready to be coloured. I waited weeks to be fitted in with El which I don't understand, because I've since found out the Marc is the colourist so why I was booked in with El who can't colour hair properly I don't know ?! which also now explains why she had to keep sneaking around whispering to Marc to ask him what to do and what next?!?! I decided on blue with purple highlights but ended up with black grey hair with a bright blue illuminous scalp!! Whilst applying my hair colour El was distracted with phone calls and texts and kept stopping and starting my hair and not really paying attention. My hair turned out black with a couple of uneven straggly purple highlights. She tried to tell me it was blue but it was blatantly black and not at all blue in any way or what I asked for. She then snuck off to Marc again to ask what to do and he suggested putting another blue on top which they applied and then left me sitting lent back with my head in a sink for ages while they went off and saw too other customers. I asked them to wash it off before anyone came over to see to me again because by this point, I was feeling nauseous and had a banging headache, they washed it off and when I looked in the mirror, I felt even sicker, my scalp was bright blue and my hair was even darker and any sign of purple was gone now too. I'd had enough by this point, 5 hours later and my hair looked the worst it ever had, I felt extremely ill, sick and faint and I was beyond upset and no one seemed bothered at all, I left and within an hour I started getting a strange sensation and ache all over my scalp and face and felt even sicker than before.....to cut a long ordeal short, I ended up in a&e with an allergic reaction due to the products they used and shear number of products used on my hair and to add insult to injury the nurse that was seeing to me in hospital noticed how many chunks of grey hair I still had???? Not even a full coverage bodge job!! I messaged the salon several times and asked for a list of products they used and advice on how to remove the bright blue from my scalp but they chose to ignore me and my messages...they weren't bothered at all!! I do not recommend this salon to anyone and personally regret ever going there, they don't know what they're doing, can't colour hair and don't care if they cause you an allergic reaction and you end up in hospital! I'd give them 0 stars if I could, they've left me with so many problems with my hair and scalp since. ****....UPDATE! No scam and I DID NOT demand products, I asked for a list of products used on my hair, please get your facts right! And read your emails, no products were asked for, just advice. If only you were this quick to reply to my emails maybe I wouldn't have left you this review! I didnt refuse to leave either! I left myself! I asked how much you wanted to charge me for the bodge job, you said no charge so I didn't walk out without paying!! You didn't offer me any appointment to fix it either. You showed me a blue colour on the chart and dyed it black! What type of scam would involve you ruining my hair and putting me in hospital!! Your "experienced" hair stylist of 15 years.?!?!...has only worked at your salon since June!! Please stop with your lies and admit you messed my hair up or say nothing.
