Catered for our Woodland wedding at Upthorpe Wood and superb to deal with from start to finish. All the comments from the guests have been how nice the hog roast was. Stress free set up. In, cook, serve and out without any trace apart from a few made up rolls for midnight feeders. Thanks guys you made our wedding stress free and happy guests is all we wanted. Never a bad trip to this excellent local butcher. The service from front of house staff to the butchers themselves is unsurpassed. If you have specific needs (such as a non traditional UK cut of meat) they know what you are talking about. Prices are reasonable and the meat is WAY better than anything a supermarket can churn out. Special offer days, amazing home recipe sausages, burgers, ready made meals, charcoal in stock for those emergency barbecues. Nothing fazes these guys, they seem to have it all! Oh and the deli sliced salt beef - Americans take note, this is what you know as Corned Beef and its really, really good for making Reubens! Today I picked up a freezer pack that I ordered a week ago. Spent over 150 on it but now have maybe 2 months worth of meat making my freezer bulge at the seams. Also cooking an incredible looking bone in rib joint from Rolfes for Thanksgiving that has been marinating in barbecue spice for a while now.
