My son is attending and is really enjoying his course. The tuition is first class and he feels he is learning a great deal as well as getting to put it into practice. Comes home really energised, I am happy and have a great sense of relief that he's enjoying his life. Well done son x

Enrolled on a 16 month Business Admin course. During the course of my apprenticeship I had not met my tutor a single time face to face and not a single call to the Walsall branch was ever returned. Multiple lessons were cancelled or delayed due to my trainer either having sick days and there was usually no notice before the lesson began. I was originally advised that upon completion of my apprenticeship I would be supported to go to university and would qualify upon successful completion of the course which I later learned to be false as the UCAS points wouldnt even qualify to a third of whats required for universities even if entering at foundation level. Overall I would highly advise to use another training provider such as nova etc where a greater level of support is provided for students and an accurate trajectory within studies are advised. Overall I would advise to not use this training provider unless as a last resort as there is a lack of support and the reason given every time for why you can never contact the Walsall branch is that staff have been made redundant which was also the reason why my exam had to be invigilated by a colleague instead of a skills training employee which again I was made aware of only on the day. The company I had completed my apprenticeship with overall wasnt a bad place to work at all however there was a serious lack of communication as what you are told by your assessor and your mentor are two polar opposites as you will be told you are on track by your assessor and afterwards be told by your mentor that your work is lacking. Somewhere along the lines there is a lack of honesty and I would advise to all younger students ambitious to get into a working environment to go with a more recognised training provider as other colleagues who worked at the same company as me did and received a much greater quality of learning and formal assessment.
