Mother Hubbard's Walsall Pleck Rd

My first visit to this chippy and the food was fantastic. We waited for the food for over half and hour as they were busy serving the phone and delivery orders. We were the only people in the chip shop so I would have expected to be served pretty quickly but this wasn't the case. Parking: Better to park off site and walk it to the chip shop if you are able to do so.

Fresh and flakey fish with nice and crisp batter, polite and friendly customer service from Ash everytime I go in he deserves a bonus

Went for tea after Walsall v Carlisle game was very dissapointed after reading reviews prior. Large fish was very large but also tasteless and greasy under the batter. Found several bones that put me right off and the chips were disgusting. Place wasnt clean either and at no point in there over an hour did anyone wipe the tables or clear down. Very dissapinting with the poor quality rubber like fish (definately not cod) and to sum it all up i had a bad stomach all evening after id eaten. shocking

Ordered a delivery yesterday, left a note that I wanted chicken burger plain no sauce for it then to come with sauce. Rang store to say I needed another one sending out to get the response that they dont receive the notes even tho it came with the note attached to the bag so they obviously had read how I wanted it. Just kept putting phine down on me too so I've paid 8 for a meal I never had. Disgusting service
