Telephone answering system and public interaction is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. Telephone calls are not answered at all. You are told not to visit the site. Covid has been used and now utilised as an excuse for bad service. You are faced with a myriad of voice recordings giving you numbers to call. These then leads to wrong departments with again more voice recordings. Im married to a GP whos practice never closed once during the covid and saw patients even on the car park. This organisation serves the public in a very important role. I was given a telephone hearing for a court case after being told initially it was going to be there on site. They sent details of a 30min hearing which I had spent many hours creating the evidence. Again a BT telephone group call .10 am phone rings automated voice asking you to press *1 to enter. Did it nothing kept asking over and over same question. They tried several times to ring me via this system, then gave up. I expected a 1 to 1 call from the magistrate secretary or someone there as I was trying..nothing they just moved on without trying me. I would say a joke but jokes are funny.
