I went in there with wet linen that I needed to dry urgently.
He said he would give me change as the machine only accepts 20ps. I gave him 4 and he gave me 2.40 back.
I asked where the rest of my change was and he said that its 3 x 20p = 60p, per 7 mins cycle and therefore pocketing 40p of each pound!
This is against the law as the machines accept 20p and if I had known, Id have brought my own 20ps. You cannot just decide how much to charge someone if your machines are programmed a certain way.
Avoid at all costs - hes a shrewd businessman who will try to con you out of money according to what he thinks he should charge.
