Strattons Farm Campsite

Hands down the best campsite we have visited. Spotless toilets, showers and washing facilities. The whole site is clean and well maintained even down to the rubbish/elsan point. Very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely Friendly owners couldnt do enough for the campers. Easter sunday they did games for the families with lots of prizes. The children and adults loved it. Fishing lake with beautiful scenery plenty of dog walks. Great childrens park and field with football nets for ball games, all in view so parents can relax. I honestly cannot find one negative about this site. 5 from us. Walkability: Lots of off road walks in all directions from the site.

This is our third stay at Strattons Farm and we have had a fabulous experience every time. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly and the new site warden is equally so. The children had a fantastic experience joining in with a treasure hunt, put on by the site warden, who went to a lot of trouble to entertain the children, along with the owner. The facilities are great, everything is well thought out and immaculately kept on top of, and clean. We have had successful and fun experiences fishing on the lake, and enjoyed the swimming pool the first time we visited. The campsite space is really lovely, space for the children to play, explore and make their own fun, with a play area, and a designated space to have a camp fire. There are accessible walks along the County fields too. There is also plenty about locally and further afield. A really delightful and peaceful place to vacate and make the most of camping. I have recommended this site to all of my camping friends.
