Summary, ok, but I wouldn't use again. The guy was very late, very expensive, and took a tap and connectors of mine. Pros: they had immediate availability and came same day initially, job was completed ok in the end Had a kitchen tap replaced. The guy on the phone seemed lovely and told me that he would call 30-45 minutes before to let me know they're on the way, at which point they charge the 60 call out fee, and said they charge 60 per half hour of labour, plus VAT, plus parts. Already very expensive so I decided to turn off the water and drain everything before he arrived so that there was one less thing to do. I got the call he was 30-45 mins away, and then an hour and a half later the guy pulls up outside and sits in his van for 10-15 minutes before coming in. Walks in and says he doesn't have the right parts so will have to come back another day (why wouldn't plumbers carry simple parts like tap connectors?!) then asked me to sign a receipt for the 60 call out fee, took my tap connectors and left. Also did the irritating thing tradesmen tend to do which is ignore me, the woman that booked the job and is paying for it, and talk to my husband instead. Also no mention that he wouldn't charge me another 60 call out so I'm stressing this whole time I'll have to argue that it's extortionate to pay 120 before even a minute of work has been done... 2 days later I get the call he's half hour away, again an hour and a half later he pulls up, this time two people to fit one tap. I had to leave so left him to it with my husband there. When I return he tells me it's done and thankfully they didn't charge the additional callout, and the job was done fine, but they did charge for an hour of work so having a tap fitted ended up costing around 220 which is insane. To add insult to injury I find out he took my tap connectors and old (perfectly working) tap that I would have stored for a spare. Bit odd they don't carry parts but also take their customers'
