A great find! My iMac that is 10 years old was not loading up and starting to make a noise. I spoke to a few 'apple specialists' but none gave me the confidence and comfort that Jason did. So I went ahead and asked Jason to have a look and see if he could bring my computer back to life. Jason was very friendly and done a diagnostics free of charge in front of me. He explained where he thought the problem was, the solution and how much it would it cost. Now of course, as we all know, one thing can lead to another to another so you never know how big the problem is. But Jason was confident and I believed him. 3 days later (over Easter weekend i may add!), Jason emailed me to say my iMac was complete and ready...he even promised it was like when I first bought it from Apple. He replaced the hard drive as expected, but also he found another part faulty and so he replaced this too. However, Jason had stuck to his word and the cost was as he had said and that was all he was charging. My iMac is back! It really is like brand new and works perfectly. An outstanding service, very reasonably priced and a genuine apple expert with a friendly approach. Thank you and I'll have no hesitation in telling people about All Things Mac.

This guy completely ripped off my elderly parents in laws. He gets one star because i can't give him zero stars. My in-laws who are in their 80's and not very tech savy emailed Jason Jones the owner of 'All things Mac' regarding an issue with their MacBook Pro that their local Apple store had diagnosed but could not repair due to its' age. Jason sent them a link for a replacement part and quoted them a fixed price to install the part once they had purchased it. My in-laws clicked in the link, purchased the part Jason told them to and when it arrived they made an appointment for him to fit it. When my in-laws arrived at the location at the time and date provided by Jason he told them he had completely forgotten about their appointment and asked them to return the next day. When they arrived the next day, they gave the part to Jason that he had told them to buy along with their MacBook Pro. which he told them it would take 15 minutes to fit. When Jason returned, he told them the part they had given him was incorrect, that they would have to buy another part to repair their MacBook and to fit that part would cost them almost twice what he had originally quoted. He also told them he had removed 3 Applications (without even consulting them) because they didn't them even though Apple had specifically told them to install at least one of them! He then charged them the full price that he had originally quoted them despite telling them to buy the incorrect part. As I've already mentioned, my in-laws are old, not very tech savy and easily swayed. I emailed Jason regarding this and although he initially said he would refund my in-laws in full, when they emailed him asking for a refund he said he had 'changed his mind' as he didn't like the content of the email i had sent him. All i can say id stay away from this guy, the way he treats the elderly is disgusting. I feel the need to respond to Jason Jones reply somewhat paranoid reply. My name is not Andrew Hall. My in-laws have more than one child and therefore more than one 'in-law'! I'm an 'in-law' hence the reason my surname is not Hall. The Apps that this self entitled technical expert refers to were installed on site by my 'in-laws' local Apple Store. I very much doubt that Apple employees would install Apps not recommended by them. (The 'Clean My Mac App' was not installed on this Macbook as it is not endorsed by Apple). It would seem that Jason Jones is so arrogant, that he thinks he knows better than Apple on what App should be installed on their products! As previously mentioned, the part purchased was done so under Janson Jones explicit instructions after supplying him with the MacBooks details. It would seem that not only does he think he knows more about MacBooks than Apple employees but he is unwilling to except when he makes an error. The bottom line is Jason Jones charged my elderly 'in-laws' for his mistake and deserves this poor review. With regards to any other negative reviews of All Things Mac, all i can say is that my 'in-laws' are obviously not the only people who have had a poor experience with Jason Jones.
